At the age of 60 he died Andy Fletchercurrent keyboardist and founding member of Depeche Modeaccording to a statement issued by the band.
“We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness on the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member and bandmate,” the band announced.
“Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh or a cold pint“, continues the statement.
Fletcher was a founding member of the group from 1980. He had previously formed a group with Martin Gore y Vince Clarke called Composition of Soundand then added to Dave Gahan para formar Depeche Mode.
