Anjou: shots fired in the direction of a parked vehicle

A second roundup of gunfire took place on the island of Montreal on Wednesday evening, this time in the borough of Anjou.

Around 9:30 p.m., the emergency services were contacted for these explosions directed at a vehicle parked on Avenue Goncourt, near the intersection of Boulevard Châteauneuf.

“After checks, the police were unable to locate the vehicle in question, but were able to find a 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman nearby,” said declared agent Jean-Pierre Brabant, of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

The two individuals were not injured. The scene was protected for investigators and forensic identification technicians. The canine unit was requested at the scene.
