Anna, 13, disappears after her parents dropped her off at school: police appeal for witnesses (pictured)

A 13-year-old girl is missing in Ghent, local police said. She was last seen on Thursday morning, when her parents dropped her off at school.

Anna Lobbestael, 13, was dropped off by her parents Thursday morning at 8:15 a.m. at her school in the Ghent district of Sluizeken. She has not been seen since.

A wanted poster went out on Friday morning describing the teenager as “white, with brown eyes and shoulder-length red/brown/blonde hair, 1m66“.

The girl was wearing, at the time of her disappearance, “a khaki-colored crop top, a dark-colored long-sleeved vest, wide-leg jeans, white Nike sneakers, white headphones, sunglasses, a yellow/black African print shoulder bag, two nose piercings ( …), a ring in the lip“.

Anyone who has information regarding this disappearance can contact the emergency number 112.
