Salzburg – On Saturday, as previously expected, the city assembly of the Green Citizens’ List elected Anna Schiester as its top candidate for the Salzburg municipal council election in spring 2024. With 98 percent of the votes, the 34-year-old city councilor with responsibility for Salzburg’s construction industry and the city’s real estate company (SIG) prevailed once morest long-time Green state parliament member Heidi Reiter (70), who had thrown her hat into the ring at short notice.
