Olympic figure skating champion Anna Shcherbakova became the winner of the National Sports Award in the nomination “Athlete of the Year”.
The awards ceremony is taking place today at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace.
In the nomination, Shcherbakova was ahead of Olympic champion in skiing Natalya Nepryaeva and two-time Olympic champion in shooting Vitalina Batsarashkina.
