The running shoes were laced up and the muscles warmed up one last time before the starting signal sounded at 12 noon in the center of Altaussee for what is now the 40th Daffodil Run of the WSV Altaussee around Lake Altaussee. The sports enthusiasts might choose the level themselves – either one lap (8.1 kilometers) or two laps (15.5 kilometers) were covered in sunshine and around 24 degrees.
