A man was arrested, today at noon, in the area of the Municipality of Kantanos Selinos by police officers of the Operations Department of Chania with the assistance of police officers of the Department of Chania (Domestic Violence Office), the Police Department of Kissamos and the Crime Prevention and Suppression Team of the Security Sub-Directorate of Chania, a man, who faces charges of domestic violence and firearms law violations.
More specifically, in the context of a preliminary investigation of a case of domestic violence once morest Chaniotissa, police officers carried out searches in houses where the arrested person lived, during which they found and confiscated a total of:
– a replica pistol,
– seven plastic pellets and
The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Chania Police Department.
