Through the missions it carries out, ANSES contributes to the fight once morest antibiotic resistance. On the occasion of World Antibiotic Awareness Week, the Agency is publishing the data collected in 2022 to:

  • Monitoring sales of veterinary drugs containing antimicrobials,
  • The Epidemiological Surveillance Network for Antibiotic Resistance in Animal Pathogenic Bacteria (Résapath)
  • The European system for monitoring antibiotic resistance in the food chain

The Agency also reviews its expert work concerning the transmission of antibiotic-resistant bacteria from animals to humans.
