Apex Legends confirms big changes are coming to Ranked Arenas

Apex Legends Principal designer Robert West recently responded to reviews of the ranked ring on Twitter with a series of upcoming changes to the situation. “We have some matchmaking and AP improvements in the pipeline and of course we will continue to update as we go forward,” West said. “I know of at least one bug that we’re investigating and hopefully we’ll get a fix soon.” You can check out the topic for yourself below:

According to West, there are some updates underway which are supposed to make ranked arenas a much smoother experience for people. This includes, but is not limited to, how the matchmaking and matchmaking odds play together to determine the teams. “Your lower-ranking teammates usually mean the MMR is close to you, but they don’t get as much AP,” West says on the topic. It should be better after the update too.”
