Every eight days a woman is murdered in the Netherlands and almost in all cases the (ex) husband is the perpetrator. Femicide must therefore be placed much higher on the political agenda and reporting must become easier. The National Network Safe at Home and 24 organizations in women’s shelters are making this appeal to the cabinet.
