Arab Parliament condemns Houthi targeting of Abha airport by drone

The Arab Parliament condemned the targeting of Abha airport in Saudi Arabia with a drone, endangering the lives of hundreds of passengers, describing this act as terrorist and subversive, which increases tensions in the region.

The Arab Parliament stressed in a statement on Thursday that these attacks are not only targeting the kingdom, but are aimed at destabilizing the entire region, calling for urgent and immediate action by the international community to hold the Houthi terrorist militia accountable for its crimes and its permanent violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Arab Parliament stressed that the targeting of Abha airport represents a full-fledged war crime, and an extension of the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia with weapons targeting residential neighborhoods, airports, ports and energy production infrastructure, in implementation of agendas aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the region, stressing that it stands by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also stressed his confidence in the kingdom’s ability to overcome all crises with determination and ability.
