Yambu: Aratco Malabar FC team Yambu won the first fives one day football match organized by Soccer GM 16 Yambu. Aratco Malabar FC Yambu team won the match organized at Radwa Flood Light Stadium by defeating Soccer GM 16 Yambu team by four goals.
Shanil Bawa, best goalkeeper Muneer and best defender Sajad Nanu (all Aratco Malabar F.C. team) were adjudged as the best player of the tournament.
Rizwan (HMR Evergreen FC) was awarded the special trophy following scoring seven goals in the match. Yambu Indian Football Association President Siraj Musliarakath, Sama Medical Company Operations Manager Suhaib Nayakan and Farhan Mongham distributed trophies and prizes to the winners. The football lovers of Yambu took up the match with 14 teams in Yambu with great enthusiasm. Football committee officials Anwar Pookotumpadam, Sarafu Kutilangadi, Shahul Kannur, Junais Sanoop, Amin, Naufal Kunju, Shafil, Shafiq and Mansoor led the competition.
