The Pokémon Company today announced the arrival ofa new update of Pokémon Sparkling Diamond and Pokémon Sparkling Pearl. Players will be able to befriend Darkrai and, while playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus, come across Arceus in Pokémon Sparkling Diamond and Pokémon Sparkling Pearl!
- To meet Arceus: to encounter Arceus in Pokémon Sparkling Diamond or Pokémon Sparkling Pearl, you will need to have downloaded the update (version 1.3.0) of these games, and have a Pokémon Legends: Arceus save game in which all the main missions have been completed. Players will then receive the “Azure Flute” item in Pokémon Sparkling Diamond or Pokémon Sparkling Pearl following entering the Hall of Fame and obtaining the National Pokédex. They will then just have to go to the entrance of the Lance Columns to meet the Mythical Pokémon Arceus.
- To befriend Darkrai: the object “Member Card” will be distributed to the players of Friday 1is April 2022 at 06:24 UTC to Saturday April 30, 2022 at 20:28 UTC. After collecting this item (by going to the “Mystery Gift” menu and selecting the “Via Internet” option), enters them into the Hall of Fame, obtains the national Pokédex and completes the in-game event related to Cresselia, players will be able to travel to New Moon Island, home to the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai.
This update will be available from Wednesday, March 16.
