On 10/23/2023, around 12:22 p.m., a patrol was called for an armed robbery at the Okay supermarket in Molenbeek-St-Jean,” reports the Brussels-West police zone.
“The suspect fled on foot and was discreetly pursued by a colleague from the Koekelberg Territoriality who was not on duty,” the police continue.
The suspect was apprehended by a patrol a few streets away with a fake Browning-type pistol and chocolate bars.
The man was taken to the police station and interviewed. Then he was released. An investigation is underway.
