Officials of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) arrested a subject for his involvement in a registered homicide in the Angostura del Orinoco municipality.
The 32-year-old man was apprehended on Alejandro Vargas avenue, in the Agua Salada parish, in Ciudad Bolívar.
The citizen identified with the nickname “El Pica de Ojo” was placed under the order of the Fourth Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the entity.

The detainee invited his friend Carlos Miguel Ángel Torres Sifontes to Guaicaipuro street, in the Los Coquitos sector of the Cathedral parish.
Upon arriving at the scene, he called a subject known as an alias “el Nixon”, who appeared at the site and fired a firearm at Torres without saying a word.
The 27-year-old victim died at the scene following suffering several gunshot wounds.
