“Arrest of “El Cuajo”: Key Suspect in December Massacre and Drug Trafficking Arrested in Las Margaritas Public Housing Project”

Agents of the Federal Bailiffs Service arrested this Tuesday Luis G. Roberto Torres, alias “El Cuajo” in the Las Margaritas public housing project, in San Juan, who the authorities link to multiple shootings and the massacre that occurred on December 20. February in the Jardines de Cataño residential area that claimed the lives of a four-year-old boy, a man, and left three others injured.

In a press release, they highlighted that Roberto Torres was charged in February 2019 with conspiracy to distribute drugs in multiple public residential areas, such as Villa Kennedy, Las Casas, El Mirador and the project where he was arrested.

Likewise, the person arrested was identified as a member of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de La Cantera (Las FARC), a criminal organization linked to drug trafficking in different parts of Santurce.
