The Lebanese security said that it was able to arrest a thief, known as the “wild lady”, following a video clip documenting her theft of a store at a gas station spread more than a week ago.
A worker at a gas station in Beirut was surprised, on July 9, by a thief who broke down the gate of a shop in his workplace, and pointed a weapon at him, before seizing some of the contents and fleeing in her car.
The video clip of the theft spread widely, on social media in Lebanon, and tweeters called the thief “the savage lady”, while the security began an investigation at the time to find out her identity.
The Lebanese security pointed out that he had identified the thief, and it was found that she had a criminal record, and many cases were registered once morest her, including drug trafficking, theft, and prostitution, and she was born in 1983.
Her place of residence was raided, she was arrested, and the weapon used in the theft, which turned out to be a plastic pistol, was seized.
