Vienna (OTS) – “With Hans Helm, the Vienna State Opera is losing an unmistakable voice and a long-standing, important pillar of its ensemble,” says Art and Culture State Secretary Andrea Mayer on the death of the Kammersänger. “Staying in a house for over 25 years is an achievement in itself – when that house is the Vienna State Opera, that’s even more true. Hans Helm achieved this and during this time gave the Viennese opera audience unique role interpretations and unforgettable musical experiences. My thoughts are with his family and friends.”
