Aston Martin Valhalla: Design, Features & Hybrid Tech Details

The first Aston Martin Valhalla delivered in Brazil boasts a custom Verdant Jade paint job costing approximately $1 million USD (R$1 million), according to a report published Sunday by UOL.

The hypercar, limited to a global production run of 999 units, with ten allocated for the Brazilian market, represents one of the most exclusive and expensive vehicles offered by the British manufacturer. Aston Martin has already delivered the first unit and plans to deliver the remaining nine before the end of 2026, pending availability from the company’s headquarters in Gaydon, England.

While Aston Martin has not disclosed the price of the initial Valhalla delivered, the average sale price in Brazil is around $14 million USD (R$14 million), with each vehicle uniquely customized to the owner’s specifications. Buyers travel to Aston Martin’s headquarters to configure their vehicle and have their measurements taken for a racing-style driver’s seat, adjustable only for depth.

The Valhalla is a plug-in hybrid featuring a central rear-mounted combustion engine, visible through a screen between the taillights. Lateral appendages, developed through wind tunnel testing, contribute to the car’s aerodynamic performance. The vehicle’s design incorporates movable front wings and a dynamic rear spoiler, with exhaust outlets positioned high to avoid interference with the spoiler.

Measuring 4.71 meters in length and only 1.16 meters in height, the Valhalla features scissor doors. A system allows the front of the car to be raised to navigate obstacles such as ramps and speed bumps. Notably, the Valhalla lacks a traditional trunk, as the space under the hood is occupied by a radiator and two electric motors.

In September 2024, UOL reported that the Aston Martin DB12, a rival to the Ferrari Roma, was being delivered in Brazil, priced starting at $3.7 million USD (R$3.7 million). A test vehicle was observed in Los Angeles, California. The DB12’s Emerald Iridescent paint color was noted for its shifting tones depending on light projection.

Rafaela Borges, a journalist with UOL, documented the delivery of the Aston Martin Vanquish V12 to Brazil in February 2025, priced at $5.6 million USD (R$5.6 million) due to optional features and personalization.
