In honor of the Day of the State Flag of Russia, which is celebrated on August 22, concerts, lectures, exhibitions and film screenings will be held in Astrakhan, timed to coincide with the important date.
A festive concert with the participation of Astrakhan soloists and groups will begin in the Arcadia Park at 6 p.m. At the same time, a concert of the Youth Symphony Orchestra will take place near the winter sports center as part of the Caspian Seasons.
In the Gabdulla Tukay square, specialists from the Shakhovsky Youth Library will hold an event called “Three Colors of the Motherland” at 5 p.m. In the regional children’s library, a lecture called “Russia’s glorious tricolor…” awaits young readers at 11 a.m.
