The Taiwanese manufacturer has set up an events page on its website with a countdown to the launch event. ASUS has scheduled the launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 5 to start at 07.00 pm Taipei time.
The show’s page didn’t reveal anything about the ROG Phone 5, but Geekbench did smartphone will run Android 11. Special phones gaming it is armed with Snapdragon 888 with two RAM options, 8 GB and 16 GB.
This smartphone is also listed in the TENAA database with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The phone also gets 5G support and a 6,000 mAh dual cell battery. The 3C certification page says the ASUS ROG Phone 5 can charge up to 65W.
Here we are talking about the ROG Phone 5 with the model code I005DA. Reportedly there is another variant with the model name I005DB, which is expected to arrive on the global market with similar specifications.
