The Australian actor George Lazenby He made headlines this week for announcing his retirement from acting. “It has not been an easy decision, but it is time to announce my retirement. Therefore, I will not be doing any more performances or public appearances, interviews or signing autographs. It has been a fun ride, but getting older is not,” the actor assured through X.
Lazenby had no chance of being chosen to play James Bondas he had no acting experience. However, his obsession with landing the role was such that he took extreme measures to get the part. During the casting, Lazenby not only bought an expensive suit and wore a Rolex identical to the character’s, but also went to the same hairdresser as Sean Connerythe previous Bond, to achieve the perfect look.
