kyiv, Ukraine (AP) — At least 13 people were killed Sunday by shellfire at a market outside the city of Donetsk in Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory, local authorities said Sunday.
Another 10 people were wounded in the attack on the Tekstilshchik suburb, said Denis Pushilin, head of the Russian-appointed authorities in Donetsk. The projectiles were fired by the Ukrainian army, he claimed.
kyiv had no comment on the development and The Associated Press might not independently verify the reports.
Emergency services were still working at the scene, Pushilin said.
