As reported by the online publication AL, unknown persons began shooting at a crowd gathered at a popular nightclub in the entertainment district of Five Points South. At the scene, police immediately found two men and a woman without signs of life. Another victim with serious injuries could not be saved; he died in the hospital. A total of 21 people were hospitalized.
Law enforcement officials believe that several people opened fire on people and then fled in a car. The search for suspects is currently underway. No one has been detained at this time.
