At least one death due to flooding of the Naiguatá river

Civil Protection is located in the state of La Guaira and attends to the areas affected by the flooding of the riverbeds.

The body of a 56-year-old man was found by Civil Protection and La Guaira State Police officials.

The victim was dragged by the force of the water, due to the rise of the Naiguatá river in the sector.

The man was with another subject, who was rescued alive by rescue agencies.

Regional media indicated that the deceased was a chef and responded to the name of Rafael Alexis Ramos.

The version that is handled is that the current threw the man out to sea, where he would later be found by officials and transferred to an ambulatory.
