With less than two weeks to go before the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections, scheduled for Sunday, October 2, we remind you of the hours recommended by the National Office for Electoral Processes (ONPE) to vote, according to the last digit of the DNI.

Cledy Gutiérrez, specialist in Electoral Training of the ONPE, explained that the electoral entity has planned these hours, in order to have an orderly day and without crowds. Here we explain what they are:

What time to vote on Sunday, October 2?

The ONPE details that the recommended time segments according to the last digit of the DNI are:

1. If the DNI ends in 1, 2, 3 and 4: It is recommended to go from 7 am to 11 am

2. If the DNI ends in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0: It is recommended to go from 11 am to 5 pm

3. If the voter is in a risk group: it is recommended to go from 2 pm to 5 pm

In this last group are considered pregnant women, older adults or people with disabilities or other vulnerability. If a person goes to vote at a time other than the recommended one, she will also be able to vote.

Do I need a vaccination card to vote?

ONPE has reported that the health protocol for COVID-19 has been updated for these elections:
