The “Voice” faction in the Kiev City Council expelled from its membership the deputy Konstantin Bogatov, who had a fight at the stand-up performance with the host of the “Television Toronto” program Vlad Kapitsea. Bogatov himself refused to voluntarily surrender the mandate.
The faction noted that Bogatov’s behavior does not correspond to the values of the “democratic European party, which is Golos.”
“The political council of the party and the Kiev city center of political power were shocked by the public conflict between the deputy of our faction in the Kiev Council Konstantin Bogatov and stand-up Vlad Kapitsa, which took place in the Bratislava Art Center on the evening of February 14,” the message says.
The party added that they are convinced that different tastes and cultural preferences cannot be a reason for quarrels and beatings.
It is noted that Bogatov refused to voluntarily surrender the mandate, so the faction will launch an imperative mandate procedure.
