Kuwait City: An attempt was made to smuggle drugs into Kuwait by sea. During the inspection by the Coast Guard, 200 kg of hashish was found abandoned in the waters off Kuwait. The goods were kept in six abandoned bags.
During a routine patrol, the Coast Guard spotted an object floating in the waters of southern Kuwait. The drugs were found when the bags were opened. The culprits might not be traced.
