Attention, the purchase of fuel is now limited to 30 liters in the Alpes-Maritimes

30 liters and not a drop more. Faced with the shortage of fuel which is hitting France but also the Alpes-Maritimes, the prefect of the department has decided to limit the purchase at the pump to 30 liters for vehicles per outlet.

According to the prefectural decree, heavy goods vehicles will have to limit themselves to 120 liters per outlet. These two restrictions come into force on Tuesday, October 11 and end on Monday, October 17.

Another decision of the prefect? Service stations exclusively dedicated to priority vehicles.

7 stations for priority vehicles

The “requisitioned” gas station attendants are: Carrefour Lingostière in Nice, Total on the Promenade des Anglais, L’Union in Menton, Total in Puget-Théniers, the Cannes BP station on Boulevard Vallombrosa, Total du Riou in Cannes , the Total relay in Grasse in the Moulin de Brun district.

Can only refuel in these stations: police vehicles, prison administration, magistrates, ambulances, firefighters and all first aiders, health and hospital vehicles, current intervention services (such as GRDF, RTE, etc.), food transport vehicles, funeral directors, airport services, taxis and household waste transport.

In addition, the prefect also prohibited the sale of fuel in jerry cans.
