Audio-Technica

To commemorate the brand’s 60th anniversary, Audio-Technica has re-engraved its own version of the 1980s. Sound Burger Classic action vinyl record player. The new version basically retains the original design, while adding new features such as Bluetooth and a built-in lithium battery (charging via USB-C). The 2022 Sound Burger can provide users with regarding 12 hours of continuous listening time on a single charge, compared to the use of large batteries in the past. The introduction of the wireless connection solution also eliminates the need for a special telescopic hanger (the new version does not come with headphones like the old version, but provides an RCA cable).

The new Sound Burger uses Audio-Technica’s ATN3600L The stylus, like the old model, has a DC motor and belt drive system, and can play records at 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. The new product is priced at US$199. If you have always wanted to experience it before but feel that the price of collectibles at US$500 is too high, you might as well try the replica now.
