Audiovisual production: change at the head of Newen

2024-02-12 19:10:57

A page is turning at Newen. The production company owned by the TF1 group, notably behind the daily soap opera “Plus Belle La Vie” but also series with international influence such as “Marie-Antoinette” and “Liaison”, is changing governance.

After two years in this position, its CEO Romain Bessi will hand over the reins of general management in April to Pierre Branco, who had managed the French activities of Warner Bros Discovery until a few months ago. At the same time, the functions of president and CEO will be separated at Newen. It will be up to Rodolphe Belmer, the boss of TF1, to also become president of its audiovisual production subsidiary.
