Auga group has appointed Laurynas Miškinis to oversee the implementation of its restructuring plan, the company announced Friday. Miškinis will strengthen the organization’s structure and ensure continuity during the process, according to a statement released by Kęstutis Juščius, Chairman of the Board of AUGA group.
Miškinis previously led the Ecological Products Development and Commerce Department of the group since 2016. The appointment follows the departure of Eglė Chodzkaitė-Barauskienė, who had served as the head of the group since November 2023. Chodzkaitė-Barauskienė will now focus on work within the defense industry, the company stated.
“We are grateful to Elina for her long-term work in creating and implementing the activity strategy, for navigating the management team through one of the most difficult periods, and for initiating the group’s restructuring,” said Juščius.
The Vilnius Regional Court approved AUGA group’s restructuring plan last September, as the company faced financial difficulties. According to a report from Yahoo Finance Singapore, the changes in management are part of the ongoing effort to stabilize the group.
