Vienna/Brussels – During contract negotiations with the vaccine manufacturer Biontech-Pfizer, the EU negotiated a reduction in delivery volumes for its member states. For Austria, this means 4.9 million fewer vaccine doses than originally ordered in the next three years. The Ministry of Health announced this on Friday via broadcast. The number has thus been reduced by more than half, from nine million to 4.1 million.
