Vienna – The decision has been made regarding the successor to the Federal Army’s aging Hercules transport machines: The C-390 from the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer will be used in the future, Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) reported at a press conference on Wednesday. These were the only model that met all requirements. The machines will be procured in cooperation with the Netherlands.
