Austria’s Paralympic figureheads Johannes, Veronika and Elisabeth Aigner have been awarded special international prizes.

The skiing siblings from Lower Austria were the first Austrians to receive two so-called Para Sport Awards at the general assembly of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) in Bahrain. Johannes Aigner was recognized as a “Rising Star”, Veronika and her guide Elisabeth Aigner received the “Breakthrough Award”.
