Authorities and businessmen analyze challenges of short-distance transport

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Deputy Minister of Transport, Emiliano R. Fernández, met with the head of the National Directorate of Transport (Dinatran), Luis Fernando González, and businessmen from the short-distance transport sector, with the aim of learning first-hand about the challenges they face and working on improving the conditions and quality of the service.

In this regard, the Vice Minister stressed the importance of these discussions, emphasizing that it is essential to coordinate between the different entities and understand the specific problems of each area of ​​public passenger transport.

The goal is to achieve sustainable benefits for users through a more efficient and cohesive transport system, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported.

The governor of the Cordillera department, Denis Lichi, also participated in the dialogue table, given that short-distance bus routes are crucial for the citizens of said department.

The meeting concluded with a firm commitment from all parties to continue working together and develop a more efficient and accessible transport system for all citizens.

Authorities and business leaders have pledged to maintain an open and ongoing dialogue with the aim of implementing joint actions.
