Autosécurité launched a new service on October 4. Faced with long waiting times, the network of test centers has decided to put in place a procedure which allows learner drivers to register on a list and to be informed when a place becomes available at last. -minute, signal Sudinfo. “We cannot multiply the number of examiners infinitely. The time slots are already wide. They start at 7:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. And then, the examiners also have the right to take leave,” explains Pierre-Laurent Fassin, the spokesperson for Autosécurité.

“We already use this waiting list system for the periodic technical inspection. This works very well since 80% of users obtain a place on time,” indicates Pierre-Laurent Fassin.

This new mechanism works according to the usual procedure but once the candidate has reserved their date, they click on the “Join the waiting list” link. As soon as a place becomes available following a cancellation, he is informed via an SMS which sends him once more to a link to reserve the slot which has become available and the initial appointment is then canceled.

This “last minute” system only works for the practical exam for the B license, specifies Sudinfo.
