Vienna (OTS) – On October 16, 2023, the ceremonial swearing-in and retirement of 273 police officers will take place in Melk Abbey. Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, State Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Federal Police Director Michael Takacs and the State Police Director of Lower Austria, Franz Popp, will take part in the event.
When: October 16, 2023
- from 10 a.m. concert by the Police Music of Lower Austria
- from 10:15 a.m. press statements from Interior Minister Karner, State Governor Mikl-Leitner and State Police Director Popp on the subject of recruitment
- The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m
Where: Melk Abbey, Prälatenhof, 3390 Melk, Abt-Berthold-Dietmayr-Straße 1
