AvtoVAZ has not yet spoken regarding the line of engines, however, the previously published vehicle type approval lists all the same engines that were installed on the previous Vesta: gasoline atmospheric units VAZ 21129 (1.6 liters, 106 horsepower), VAZ 21179 (1, 8 liters, 122 horsepower), as well as the French engine Renault H4M-HR16DE (1.6 liters, 113 horsepower). Gearboxes are also the same – “mechanics” and Jatco CVT.
