Azul Viagens will have more than 800 flights from the interior of São Paulo to 14 destinations across the country in high season

Azul Viagens, Azul’s tourism operator, announced the increase in dedicated flight offers departing from cities in the interior of São Paulo during the summer holiday period.

An important economic, agribusiness and industrial sector hub in the country, the interior of the state also shows its strength as a tourist origin center for various parts of Brazil, concentrating a large demand for packages at this time of year.

809 flights will be offered during the high season, departing from six source markets (Campinas, São José do Rio Preto, Ribeirão Preto, Presidente Prudente, Bauru and Araçatuba. The operations serve 14 Brazilian destinations among the most sought following by Customers at this time of year – being Bonito (MS), Comandatuba (BA), Fortaleza (CE), Foz do Iguaçu (PR), Ilhéus (BA), João Pessoa (PB), Maceió (AL), Natal (RN), Navegantes (SC), Porto Alegre (RS), Porto Seguro (BA), Recife (PE), Salvador (BA) and Florianópolis (SC).

In total, during the high summer season, Azul, Brazil’s largest airline in terms of number of daily flights and destinations served, will have 2,705 extra flights, 1,142 of which will be dedicated to Azul Viagens. The Northeast will be the highlight, with 52% of extra flights — in total, there will be 1,419 to cities in the region, between December 15, 2023 and February 4, 2024.
