Manama: Haya Abdullah Al Hamad and Lian Abdullah Hamad from Bahrain participated in the first International Children’s Cultural Forum held in Russia. The five-day cultural forum was held under the auspices of the Russian Minister of Culture.
Bahrain is the only participating country from the Arab and Gulf region. The forum, which consisted of various academic and artistic programs and lectures, was meant to develop and promote the skills of children and exchange between different cultures.
Both met with the Russian Minister of Culture and Minister of State and explained matters related to studying classical music in Bahrain. Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Heritage and Cultural Authority, congratulated the children who participated in the internationally notable forum.
