Bangalore: The second match of the Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club (BMSC) will be played on Sunday. The match will be played at the Iqra Games Village Ground at Kudlu Gate in Bangalore from 7 am. The first prize will be a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and the second prize will be a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 7,000.
There will also be cash prizes and trophies in the categories of Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Wicket Keeper, Man of the Match and Man of the Series. The Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club was inaugurated in March 2019 by Bangalore MLA and former Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy. Since then, a number of teams, including Bangalore Malayalees only, have played cricket, football and badminton tournaments.
Competitions were also held online, with Kovid unable to compete directly. After 20 months, the Bangalore Malayalee Sports Club is gearing up for another sporting extravaganza involving Bengaluru Malayalees only.
