(Alliance News) – The banking segment performed well on Tuesday in Piazza Affari, with the best performing sector index of all, up 1.4 percent.
Banca Monte dei Paschi increased by 4.1%, with a new price of 3.17 euros per share, following two sessions of decline. The stock – which has an annual volatility of 51 – over the 52-week range is trading at a high of 3.44 euros and a low of 1.75 euros per share.
BPER Banca, on the other hand, appreciated by 2.3%, bringing the price to 3.09 euros.
On the downside, Banca Generali lost 0.6%, following Friday’s loss of 0.2%.
