Barcelona have announced the transfer of former Polish national team goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

The agreement with the 34-year-old goalkeeper runs until June 30, 2025. In August, the footballer announced his retirement, but returned to football to move to Barcelona.

Previously, Barcelona’s main goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen underwent surgery after tearing the hamstring of his right knee, which forced him to be out for approximately eight months.

Szczesny, as part of Juventus, became a three-time Italian champion and winner of the National Cup, and also won the Italian Super Cup twice. In addition, the Pole played for Roma, London Arsenal and Brentford.
