Barcelona bring Spanish Supercup football to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh – FC Barcelona has won the Spanish football Super Cup. The Catalans beat Real Madrid 3-1 in Sunday’s final in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The defending champions from the capital, who had to do without David Alaba with a calf injury, were clearly inferior to their arch-rivals. Barca celebrated their first title since the 2021 cup success and the first trophy under coach Xavi.
