Argentine striker Lionel Messi, the American player for Inter Miami, believes that Barcelona is one of the most prominent candidates to win the Champions League this season.
Messi said in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo: “I always follow Barcelona’s matches, as it is the club that I love and will continue to love throughout my life.”
He continued: “Barcelona has a great team, and they are ready to fight for the Champions League, and I have no doubt that they are favorites to win the title.”
He concluded: “Barcelona needs to avoid more pressure on it at the present time, in order to win titles.”
