The win comes on the heels of weekend draws for both Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, putting Barcelona on 51 points, level with Madrid but a point clear of Atlético. Real madrid’s match against Osasuna finished 1-1, while Atlético was held to the same score at home by Celta Vigo.
