Bayer Leverkusen: Will he stay or will he go?: Patrik Schick’s decision has been made – Bundesliga

Patrik Schick (26) scored 24 goals in the past season. The Bayer Leverkusen striker was in demand all over Europe, including a candidate for FC Bayern.

Now the decision regarding the future of the Czech national player has been made: Schick has prematurely extended his contract, which runs until 2025, by two more years until 2027 at Bayer Leverkusen.

This means that speculation regarding a possible Schick departure this summer is finally off the table. The Leverkusen bosses had previously publicly announced several times: “Schick stays!” The extension with Schick is therefore a coup and a clear signal to the Bundesliga competition for the new season.
