Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel reacted “surprised” to reports that Lucas Hernández might switch to Paris Saint-Germain. “I’ve noticed that there are headlines regarding Lucas. I don’t know if that’s true,” said Tuchel on Friday in Munich and then: “What I can say is that he plays a prominent role in my plans, in the plans of the club. For me, he is an absolute leader, I had already said that – and that hasn’t changed.”
The French sports newspaper “L’Équipe” reported on Thursday that PSG had reached a basic agreement with the French international. Sport1 and the French broadcaster RMC had previously reported that the French champions were interested in central defender Hernández.
