Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is coming to Switch on March 17, 2023

The great Bayonetta has won its letters of nobility and is also entitled to its “Origin” episode.

During the Game Awards 2022 ceremony, Nintendo unveiled two world exclusive trailers for games to be released on Switch. The first is that of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demona new opus in the series of Bayonetta starring Cereza, a young apprentice witch, before she soon becomes the famous “Bayonetta”.

In Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, players embody Cereza, a young apprentice witch, and begin their journey in a forbidden forest in order to acquire a power to save their mother. This new game offers both a unique style, inspired by picture books, and gameplay never seen before in the series of Bayonetta. By controlling both Cereza and Chouchou, her demon partner, players explore, fight, and solve puzzles to help Cereza penetrate deep into the forest.

No need to wait for a preview of the game. A short playable demo of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon can be accessed through Bayonetta 3. Players who have purchased with the game’s special currency the old illustrated book in Rodin’s shop, The Gates of Hell, will be able to access this demo, following unlocking it with three keys .
